Pingali Venkayya, the architect of the countrywide flag
Pingali Venkayya, the architect of the countrywide flag, was born on August 2, 1876. He was introduced up in a Telugu Brahmin household at Bhatalapenumuru in the vicinity of Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh to father Hanumantrayudu and mom Venkatarathanma.
