Indian Man Is Beaten Up For Urinating In Front Of A Cow

In a very unusual incident, Indian man was recently arrested by the authorities after it was reported that he beat up another guy because he saw him urinating in front of a cow.

Remember, cows are considered as holy animals in India, which is why  the incident happened.

The incident that we are talking about happened in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam district, said the police on Saturday.

According to reports, police officers from the Manak Chowk Police Station arrested Virendra Rathod, the accused beater, on the evening of Friday this month.

He was arrested under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 294 (obscene act) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code). 

A video of the incident also went viral.

In the video, Virendra Rathod was seen brutally beating up Saifuddin Patliwala, the victim, for urinating in front of a cow. 

After the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police tracked down the victim and after a complaint was registered, Virendra Rathod, the accused, was arrested.

Manik Chowk police station in-charge Sachin Dabar said that in the same video, the victim was forced to apologize for urinating in front of a cow.

Despite repeatedly apologizing, Rathod kept slapping the man in the video. 

Right now, there is no information available on Rathod being in jail or how long he would be staying in police custody.
