Dichka and Archie went fishing together on a lake in Novosibirsk, Russia, and the best thing about their trip is that everything was pictured.

Talking about the trip, Dichka said that Archie was having the time of his life and rowed the boat when she got tired.

Veronika rescued Archie from a safari park that went out of business a couple of years ago.

The brave woman and the giant brown bear spend so much time together that she currently believes that animal would never hurt her.

To prove that the animal is safe, Veronika decided to bring Archie on a fishing trip on a boat.

Talking about the massive bear, she said:

“He sees me as a member of his family, we share food, sleep in my arms when afraid, and hide behind me. We rescued him from the safari park but can’t release him into the wild as he has lived in captivity his whole life. Archie spends every day with us and is madly in love with water. He loves it very much when I take him to new places, so this shoot was a pleasure for him!”

Veronica said that Archie is her trusty companion.

The bear, who is also from Novosibirsk, was rescued from a circus by Maya Kirsanova when they were cubs. He lived in a safari park along with other bears until it had to be closed down. As time passed by, Maya had a difficult time to find shelter for the animals, and this is where Veronika came in.

The brave woman decided to adopt the bear and the rest is history.
