Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all remain active as we enter the final 10 days of the summer transfer window. Chelsea turn to… Morata?!

Chelsea’s frustrations in their attempted deal with Barcelona for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have led them to consider alternatives, including former striker Morata, according to Sport.

Atletico Madrid reinserted the Spaniard into their squad this summer after the end of his loan spell at Juventus, and he has performed admirably with two goals on his debut versus Getafe.

A fee of only £21million was reportedly enough to land Morata earlier in the window but that now could be tripled owning to his fine form.

He said recently: “In the end it’s our job and [the speculation is] what comes out in the press. I just want to work, Atletico are one of the best clubs in the world. If there’s a transfer market I can’t do anything about it, just work, I’m happy here.”
