Mumbai, August 8: Actor Ranveer Singh is currently basking in the praise for his performance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film, which also stars Alia Bhatt, has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
In a recent interaction with fans, Ranveer was asked about the best compliment he had received for his performance in the film. The actor replied that he had been receiving long love letters from his fans.
“Lambe lambe love letters mil rahe hain (I’m getting long love letters),” he said. “I’m so grateful for all the love and appreciation I’ve been receiving for Rocky. It’s truly overwhelming.”

Ranveer also revealed that he had received a special compliment from his friend and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir, who watched the film recently, told Ranveer that he had never seen him perform like this before.
“Ranbir said that he had never seen me perform like this before,” Ranveer said. “That meant a lot to me coming from someone I admire so much.”
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a romantic drama set in the 1980s. It tells the story of Rocky (Ranveer Singh), a young man from a humble background, and Rani (Alia Bhatt), a wealthy heiress. The film also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
The movie was directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions. It premiered in theaters on February 10, 2023.
